BIOGRAPHY

Wes Ramsey was born October 6, 1977 in Louisville, KY as middle of three boys. He discovered his passion for the theater at the age of 12 during a three week summer class at Walden Theater in his home town. He quickly enrolled full time in the fall where he remained for the next seven years, taking classes and performing in shows.

In 1996, Wes was accepted into the 29th group in the drama division of the Juilliard School in New York City.   He graduated with a BFA in 2000.  Shortly after graduation Wes joined CBS’ THE GUIDING LIGHT as Sam Spencer, where he remained for two years.

In 2002, Wes left NY for Los Angeles. His first film was LATTER DAYS, where he starred alongside Joseph-Gordon Levitt, Jacqueline Bisset and Mary Kay Place.  He has since shot numerous other independent films as well as several films for the SCI-FI network. His television credits include series regular roles on THE PLAYBOY CLUB,  DAYS OF OUR LIVES, the Fox sitcom LUIS, and, most recently on DELIVERANCE CREEK, Lifetime’s Civil War Drama with Nicholas Sparks.  His recurring and guest roles include CHARMED and CSI: MIAMI, HOUSE, and THE EVENT , THE MENTALIST, CASTLE, and PRETTY LITTLE LIARS.
